Virgin Australia has followed Qantas this evening by offering a waiver for change fees on domestic and international bookings for travel between 15 March 2020 and 30 June 2020.
Changing an upcoming Virgin Australia flight
If you’re travelling before 30 June 2020, book with Virgin Australia and get peace of mind with waived fees for any changes to your flight. If you need to change your travel plans, Virgin Australia will change your flight travel date or destination for no change fee.
Once you’ve decided on your new travel dates or destination, call the Virgin Australia Guest Contact Centre on 13 67 89 (or see international contact numbers) who will guide you through the process. We’d anticipate that the contact centre will be very busy, so expect a long wait time.
Under this new policy, Virgin Australia is offering a maximum number of 2 changes per international booking and 1 change per domestic booking.
Changes are subject to seat availability on your desired flight. Fare differences and/or applicable taxes for booking changes may apply.
