Get 250 Status Credits or 30,000 bonus points with a Velocity credit card

For a limited time, Velocity is upping the perks on certain points-earning credit cards. Which exclusive benefit will you choose?

Attention! Velocity Frequent Flyer is offering a range of ‘exclusive benefits’ when you apply for an eligible Velocity credit card by 31 March 2023.

What’s more is Velocity is offering your choice of benefit on top of current sign up offers, meaning you could pocket up to a total of 150,000 Velocity points here.

The promotion entitles Velocity Frequent Flyer members to one of the following benefits:

  • 250 Virgin Australia status credits (enough to jump straight to Silver status)
  • 30,000 bonus Velocity points
  • a $200 Coles gift card

How do I get the exclusive benefit?

In order to receive your chosen additional benefit, you’ll need to go to the Velocity website and select one of the benefits before applying for a selected Velocity points-earning credit card by 31 March 2023.

What’s the catch?

We suggest thinking about which benefit will be best for you, as you won’t be able to change your mind once you’ve registered your choice.

You must also be a Velocity Frequent Flyer member to be eligible to receive your choice of benefit. Not a member yet? Learn more about joining here.

The full terms and conditions for each of the three benefits can be found on the offer page.

Summary

Unlocking this offer is as simple as choosing which benefit and card best suits you.

If you’re someone who will benefit from status, than this fast-track (of sorts) to Silver could be well worth your while.

On the other hand, if you’re looking to lock in a flight redemption, cashing in on the 30,000 points may make more sense.

While a free trolley of groceries is tempting, it’s unlikely that the $200 Coles gift card will offer better value than either of the other benefits.

As always, it’s worth crunching the numbers to assess whether the annual fee is worth any associated benefit.

Which benefit would you choose?
