Qatar Airways boosts Adelaide flights on Doha and Auckland routes

Qatar Airways is boosting its growing network with increased flight frequency on its Adelaide service from 1 July. The airline is expanding the Doha-Adelaide-Auckland route from three to five flights per week, providing greater connectivity for South Australia to the world.

Qatar Airways began its services to Adelaide in 2016 — flying the first Airbus A350 into Australia. Now operated by a B777-300ER, the route flies from Doha to Adelaide and onwards to Auckland. With the addition of the two weekly flights, the carrier will operate 38 weekly flights to Australia. The expansion will also improve accessibility to South Australia for New Zealand visitors.

The flight schedule from 1 July will run as follows:

Qatar Airways first introduced the Adelaide-Auckland flight route in April, in line with the opening of New Zealand’s borders. Earlier this year, the airline doubled its Brisbane service, now operating seven flights per week, as well as expanding its Perth service to include daily flights to and from Doha

At the time of writing, no additional award seats appear to have been released for the new flights. However, keep an eye out, as any new seats are bound to be snapped up quickly upon release!
