Breaking news! Virgin Australia has released 800,000 discounted Boxing Day fares across its domestic and international network, at up to 30 per cent off.
Travellers can secure fares from as low as $55 Economy one-way from Ballina (Byron Bay) to Sydney in the epic sale. Other popular destinations include the Gold Coast, Melbourne, Cairns, Denpasar, Haneda (Tokyo) and Vanuatu for travel on selected dates from February to September 2023.
The discounted fares are on sale from 12:01am 26 December 2022 until midnight (AEST) 29 December 2022, unless sold out prior, with travel available on selected dates and destinations between February and September 2023. All sale fares include Velocity Frequent Flyer Points earn and Status Credits.

One-way Economy Lite fare* highlights in both directions include:
- Brisbane — Cairns from $89 one-way
- Ballina (Byron Bay) — Sydney from $55 one-way
