Qantas to launch flights between Sydney and Orange

Qantas will begin flights between Orange and Sydney, bringing competition to the skies of Central West NSW.

From 1 May, QantasLink will fly 11 return flights between Orange and Sydney on a mix of Q300 and Q200 aircraft adding more than 45,000 seats on the route each year.

Orange residents and visitors will benefit from competitive fares and more flight options as well as the onward connectivity through Qantas’ domestic and international network and partner airlines like Emirates and American Airlines.

To celebrate the new route, Qantas is offering special fares of $129 on the 50-minute flight between Orange and Sydney, for travel between 1 May 2020 and 25 October 2020. Fares are available to book through qantas.com or local travel agents until 17 February 2020.

Qantas is also spruiking free Qantas Frequent Flyer membership for Orange residents until 28 February 2020. However, savvy travellers know that there are many avenues to join Qantas Frequent Flyer for free year-round, with a round-up of different options here.

Orange is Qantas’ 13th destination in NSW after Sydney, Albury, Armidale, Ballina (Byron Bay), Coffs Harbour, Dubbo, Lord Howe Island, Moree, Newcastle, Port Macquarie, Tamworth and Wagga Wagga.
