Marriott Bonvoy’s Week of Wonders: stay for 15% less points

This year’s Week of Wonders is all about celebrating the return of travel and the possibility of making that dream holiday a reality.

Marriott Bonvoy members have just a short time left to maximise global and regional offers across many of its aspirational properties.

From 6 to 13 October 2022, members can leverage exclusive offers, including discounted room rates, opportunities to earn bonus points towards free stays and the ability to redeem experiences through Marriott Bonvoy Moments.

Here’s what’s on offer for Australian members:

Lock in an award stay for up to 15% less points

The standout Week of Wonders offer appears to be the ability to secure a hotel redemption stay for up to 15% less points. Marriot Bonvoy redemptions have recently shifted to a flexible awards structure, so this represents a chance to score a discount on often hefty redemption rates.

This offer applies to offer 4,500 hotels and resorts worldwide. Marriott Bonvoy boasts an impressive range of luxury and premium hotel brands, so there’s a high chance you could stay at your desired hotel for less.

The Champagne Mile’s very own Adele has leveraged this offer to lock in a few points redemptions. A six night booking made at the Ritz Carlton Perth a few months back originally cost 260,000 Bonvoy points. This week, she was able to cancel and re-book the same redemption for 228,000 points, representing a 15% discount:
