We know air travel isn’t kind to our complexion, so La Prairie and Sydney Airport are a heavenly duo that make for the ultimate travel ritual.

The catch? As they say: Beauty comes at a cost…

What’s on offer?

La Prairie pre-flight experiences offer a collection of beauty treatments designed to pamper your skin before a flight.

Travellers at Sydney Airport can select from four indulgent treatments, each offering a series of unique different benefits in a private treatment room.

The Platinum Haute-Rejuvenation, Caviar Indulgence, Caviar Illumination and Gold Radiance treatments won’t have your skin wanting for more, with unrivaled Swiss purity promising a lasting glow.

La Prairie’s Beauty Therapists will help you choose the luxurious treatment best suited to your skin.

What’s the damage?

While your skin will likely love the indulgence, we can’t say the same for your bank account – in true Swiss fashion, these pre-flight treatments don’t come cheap!

The bite-sized 45-minute airport beauty experiences start at $270 AUD and max out at an eye-watering $450 for a Platinum Haute-Rejuvenation.

You can book online for the La Prairie Beauty Suite at Sydney International Airport via this link. Simply select your desired treatment and select a time slot (treatments run from 12:30-7:30pm most days) and fill out your flight number followed by personal details.

Bear in mind that for treatments for more than one person, you’ll need to call La Prairie Sydney Airport spa on 0481 171 455.

There still seems to be plenty of availability across the board, but it pays to plan ahead as it is recommended that you book a treatment that begins at least two hours before your scheduled flight.

    Zoe hello!
Thank you so much for your review.
An important note thought please. the treatments at the Airport are definitely NOT more expensive than at a normal counter or boutique.
    Would you mind amending asap?
    Thanks so much
    Sally B 🙂

Hi Sally. The mention around cost referred to La Prarie Pre-Flight Treatments being arguably more expensive than consumers might expect to pay for an airport spa treatment. However, I have deleted this mention to avoid confusion. Are you please able to provide reference information around the treatments costing the equivalent of what people pay for La Prairie in non-airport spas? Cheers!
