A few things to keep in mind

As is to be expected, blackout dates apply to the current Jetstar sale. However, we’re seeing travel dates from May through to September, which is an opportune time to escape the winter doom.

That said, if you’re planning to travel with a young family, it’s worth noting that the vast majority of travel dates on offer don’t include the school holidays.

It’s also best to keep in mind that these base-level Starter sale fares are not flexible, but you can always opt to purchase a Flex or Plus bundle for extra flexibility and peace of mind.

Similarly, checked baggage won’t be included in your sale ticket. Again, there’s the option to add baggage, but we’re pro embracing the hand luggage challenge for the sake of keeping cheap flights cheap.

Summary: Is this a good sale?

We’re firm believers that the cure to any post-holiday blues is to book another holiday – there’s a lot to be said for having travel on the horizon!

We recently saw similar domestic fares on offer via Jetstar’s Black Friday sale, however, the addition of international routes is a real game-changer here.

While Jetstar’s sale fares are not flexible and don’t include luggage, the travel dates on offer for next year are quite appealing. Plus, it may be a while before we see flights this cheap again, so pack light and lock them in while you can!
