Jetstar launches non-stop route from Sydney to the Cook Islands

Jetstar will launch new flights between Sydney and Rarotonga from mid-next year, marking the first time the low-cost carrier has operated direct flights between Australia and the largest of the Cook Islands.

Taking off from 29 June 2023, the new service will offer two weekly return flights operated by Jetstar’s newest aircraft, the Airbus A321neo LR, which will carry up to 50,000 customers between the two destinations each year.

Jetstar will fly between Sydney and Rarotonga twice each week, per the schedule below:

To celebrate this new route, Jetstar has launched a sale today, with fares starting from just $229 AUD one way.

The sale starts 12:00 pm AEDT Thursday 1 December 2022 until 11:59 am AEDT Saturday 3 December 2022, unless sold out prior. Fares are one-way and exclude checked baggage. Selected travel dates and conditions apply.
