Is it worth holding the Bankwest Qantas Transaction Account for the long term?
Aside from the bonus points, the Bankwest Qantas Transaction account is one of the only Qantas points earning savings accounts on the market. You’ll earn points as follows:
- 12 Qantas points for every $100 of your account balance each month
- 5 Qantas points per eligible purchase with Debit Mastercard transactions, and
- 5 Qantas points each time you withdraw cash via an overseas ATM withdrawal.
Bear in mind that the Bankwest Qantas Transaction Account levies a monthly maintenance fee of $6. This is waived when you deposit at least $2,000 per month. Refer to the Product Disclosure Statement for account fees and charges, along with a definition of an ‘eligible’ transaction
