The American Express® Shop Small initiative is designed to help small businesses thrive, while highlighting the wide acceptance of American Express locally.
This year, American Express eligible small businesses have a chance to win one of 10x $10,000 Shop Small Business Grants^.
How to win a $10,000 grant for your business
There’s no need to register for this promotion – all eligible Shop Small Merchant Members will be automatically enrolled when the promotion commences on 1 November 2023.
Eligible businesses will receive an entry into the competition each time they process an American Express transaction is processed between 1 November 2023 and 30 November 2023.
Simply put, the more American Express transactions processed your customers pay using American Express, the greater number of entries your small business will receive into the draw, increasing your chances to win!
10 lucky Shop Small Merchant Members will be drawn at random and each will win a $10,000 Shop Small Business Grant, with the total prize pool worth $100,000^.

The promotion commences 1 November 2023 and closes 30 November 2023. The winners will be notified by email by 31 January 2024.

How to start accepting American Express
The number of businesses that choose to accept American Express is continuing to grow each year. If your business doesn’t accept American Express Cards, it’s not too late to start!
