Why ParkValet Is Only Available at International Right Now
If you’re flying domestically and were hoping to use valet parking, check first, Brisbane Airport’s own site confirms ParkValet is currently operating at the International Terminal only, with Domestic valet suspended. There’s no published timeline for when it might return; Brisbane Airport suggests signing up to their mailing list for updates. Located on Level 1 of the International Terminal car park, ParkValet includes express entry and exit and an optional car wash service, though the airport’s own terms note your car isn’t guaranteed to be parked undercover during busy periods, it may be moved to a secure open-air area instead.
The Two Free Parking Windows
Both ParkLong and AIRPARK give you a genuine grace period before charges apply. ParkLong Domestic offers 30 minutes free, useful for a quick drop-off without paying for short-term parking rates. AIRPARK goes further, up to a full hour free, on top of its free 24/7 shuttle service running every 15-30 minutes to both terminals.
The RACQ Question
Unlike Melbourne, where RACV members save 10% across several named operators, or Adelaide, where RAA members get a confirmed discount at Andrew’s Airport Parking, we couldn’t find an equivalent genuine RACQ discount specific to Brisbane Airport’s own official car parks. RACQ does have a related discount at Secure Parking, a separate operator running city and CBD car parks in Brisbane and the Gold Coast, but that’s a different service to Brisbane Airport parking itself.
